Maria De Villota  (13.01.1980 - 11.10.2013) "Maria was a little ball of energy, an amazing, incredible lady. I last saw her at the Spanish Grand Prix in May. She was blown away by how happy people were to see her. I think that really touched her.In the Suzuka paddock you could see how much her passing has affected people.  I won’t just remember her for what she achieved in motorsport. I’ll remember her for being  special, for her character and strength. It was because she was special that Maria was breaking barriers in  motorsport. It was because she was special that she looked like she had overcome such a tragic accident. She will never be forgotten in our sport.” (Susie Wolff) (x)

"I first met Emily on our third episode, she was suppose to be in one episode and it was my first opportunity as the lead in a series to try to make a guest star comfortable. It was my first real scene where I had lots of dialogue with somebody that wasn’t a core part of our cast. - I remember thinking here’s my opportunity [with Emily] to really try and make her feel at home, and happy, and comfortable. And when we shot that scene when she did her little things for the first time and I laughed, that was legitimate like I was not expecting it, and it just made me crack up. - So it was right from the start we’ve always just had a nice easy time doing scenes together."
